The successful business built a new store constructed by Louis Auguste Boileau in 1867. Louis Boileau, his son, continued the store in the 1870s. He consulted with Gustave Eiffel for the structure. He was interning for Kassebaum in Washington, D.C.) <em>but I can&#8217;t find it here!! Did find a braided bag leather bag for mom which is a possibility. Gina?? Dad?!? \u00a0Possibly a bicycling shirt, but I don&#8217;t know!<\/em><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_1893\" style=\"width: 235px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1893\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1893\" title=\"images-4\" src=\"https:\/\/backattheranchwithpaula.com\/coffee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/images-4.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"225\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-1893\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">French sailor shirt, immortalized by Picasso.<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">[I have no clue what that meant, I have no recollection that anyone in my family bicycled to point of having a special shirt, but maybe it was a Tour de France shirt? We bicycled for transportation in Graves family].<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>Lunch: \u00a0chef salade in a caf\u00e9 un boul St.-Germain (20F-$5.00). I have to quit spending so much money on food!!<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">[See the priorities, here&#8230;not worried about money for gifts, but concerned about eating out. Seeing that I was in a hotel that only served breakfast, I don&#8217;t know what choice I had, but later in summer I started to pick up food at the charcuterie down the street though I did not like having food in my hotel room.]\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>Took m\u00e9tro to Tuileries to take pictures of little boys with boats. \u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>Three men approached me on walk from Tuileries to Grand Palais!! I could have caf\u00e9 cr\u00e9e libre (I think this is decaf coffee with cream) all day long. They are<\/em>\u00a0<em>always<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">[back to the men, detecting diagnosis of possible ADD tendencies not yet unidentified for another 32 years]\n<ol>\n<li><strong><em>old (over 30 at least).<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>dark<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>and have bad teeth.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><em>That must be the <strong>type that looks for American Girls in the Tuileries<\/strong>. I love it. \u00a0I had to sit on a bridge (the one right over where one takes the bateau mouche) and I could feel tremors!! Finished about 7:00 and arrived home at 7:30. \u00a0<\/em><\/div>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><em>Ate dinner at &#8220;Le Jardin&#8221; -sort of a French Health Food restaurant<\/em>\u00a0[???? I think pat\u00e9, rich cheeses, butter, cream and wine for those who partake in the quantities perscribed in France are all proving to be pretty healthy when cutting out the gauloises]. <em>Very elegant and pretty, but &#8220;laid-back.&#8221; Group seems to hang out there, piano player. I wouldn&#8217;t really suggest it unless you were a vegetarian<\/em> [God forbid in Franch in 1980 or now!],<em> but it was interesting. The chef came out and took my $ for the dinner and asked me what I was doing this summer in Paris, did I like it, etc. The people are <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">so<\/span> nice. I think when I do stuff alone, I speak a little French, and people feel more comfortable about talking to you and are so <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">helpful<\/span>. He told me to be sure &amp; come back before I leae, especially for the th\u00e9 in the afternoon. \u00a0They &#8220;had very good things for tea&#8221; he said en fran\u00e7ais.\u00a0<\/em><\/div>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><strong><em>Well, I&#8217;m going to needlepoint maintenant.
