ranch to pavement, tiny bit of the way…<\/span><\/p>\n

At least this last two months, now I’m christening<\/span><\/p>\n

I don’t know but something miss’nin…”<\/span><\/p>\n

I was called mid-week to 77<\/span><\/p>\n

Burns to Florence and Marian<\/span><\/p>\n

J.K. Williams old barnyard,<\/span><\/p>\n

white bank barn still standin’ hard.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Roads I’d traveled doing history stuff<\/span><\/p>\n

Places where the writin’ was more than fluff<\/span><\/p>\n

Highways, sideways, drainage ditches<\/span><\/p>\n

Engineering plans that had some glitches…<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I passed by and got to smile…<\/span><\/p>\n

Road re-routed a fraction of a mile<\/span><\/p>\n

cows in stockpens still intact<\/span><\/p>\n

KDOT got it, had impact.<\/span><\/p>\n

-a song, my day, my thoughts, my memories\u00a0my mark on 77 with KDOT, KSHPO, and Citysearch.<\/a><\/p>\n
